On June 23, 2022, the GMDC acted to grant accreditation to the St. George’s University School of Medicine (SGUSOM) medical education programme for a period of eight years — until June 30, 2030.
SGUSOM is currently the only medical education programme accredited by GMDC in Grenada. Graduates from GMDC-accredited institutions are eligible to practice medicine in the United States and Canada.
