About GMDC Accreditation

GMDC is recognised by the Government of Grenada, the NCFMEA, and the WFME as the authority for accreditation of medical education programs.

Steps to Become Accredited

1. Apply for authorisation from the Government of Grenada
2. Apply for candidacy from GMDC
3. Submit documentation of continuous enrollment for 10+ years
4. Submit an institutional self-study
5. Submit a complete data collection instrument (DCI)
6. Cooperate with GMDC site visitors

Accreditation Period

Initial: 5 years. Subsequent: 8 years. Schools take about three years on average.
